Old Xaverian Association Executive Officer


This is the senior alumni relations role within the Community Relations team at Xavier College. The Executive Officer reports directly to the Director of Development and Community Relations and is responsible for the implementation of the Alumni Relations Engagement Plan. The primary outcome sought is a high level of Old Xaverian engagement and connection to the College.


Responsibilities include but are not limited to:

  • Being the Executive Officer of the Old Xaverian Association (OXA) and in that capacity, maintaining a line of report and a close working relationship with the President of the Association and members of the Committee;
  • Continual enhancement of alumni data on the Synergetic database;
  • Promotion and coordination of all official College reunions;
  • Fostering of interstate and international OXA Chapters;
  • Responsibility for the annual ANZAC Day, Remembrance Day and Maytime Fair involvements;
  • Responsibility for an E newsletter and Xavier News content


You will have the capacity to work alone but also enjoy working within a team environment. Project management is ongoing and some work outside normal hours is required.


Attention to detail, event management experience, sound computer skills and database experience is part of what you can bring to this exciting and demanding role.


This relationship focused role involves commitment to the OXA community, the College and it’s Jesuit values.   Familiarity with the Xavier College Community and/or the worldwide Jesuit tradition will be an advantage.
