Alumni and Community Relations Officer

Founded in 1912, De La Salle is an independent Catholic College for boys in Years 4 – 12. Located on two adjacent campuses in Malvern, De La Salle College provides a respectful, encouraging and child safe environment where strong family values are reinforced.

Applications are invited from suitably qualified and experienced candidates for this Long Service Leave replacement position. This is a part-time, three day per week (Monday, Wednesday and Friday) position from Wednesday 27 June to Monday 27 August inclusive. Some additional out of hours work to attend functions will be required, the successful applicant must be able to fulfil this requirement.

The Alumni and Community Relations Officer is a role in De La Salle College’s development team. The position will work closely with and be supported by Development Manager. The Alumni and Community Relations Officer is the key liaison point between the College and its Alumni, Parent Network and MOFS (Mothers of Former Students) groups.

Applicants should have experience with Synergetic, intermediate Microsoft Office skills and excellent verbal and written communication skills. Experience within a school environment and/or a similar position is preferred.

Applicants are expected to fully support the Catholic and Lasallian ethos of the College and the safety and wellbeing of children. A Working with Children Check and National Police Record Check are required prior to commencement.
